Fertilizer dryer
The Best Choices for Your Project
Provide customers with drying solutions for various fertilizers
- Production capacity: 1-20T/H.
- Customizable diameter from 80cm to 3600cm.
- Dryer length: 8 meters to 36 meters.
Fertilizer dryers include organic fertilizer dryers, feed dryers, compound fertilizer dryers, and NPK compound fertilizer dryers. They are specialized fertilizer dryers.
Fertilizer dryers are typically drum-type fertilizer dryers. These dryers use hot air to dry the fertilizer, improving its quality while also effectively preventing caking, mildew, and nutrient loss.
Drum-type fertilizer dryers use heat to evaporate moisture. The drying process includes loading, drying, and unloading.
Drum-type fertilizer dryers load wet fertilizers through an automatic loader. Loading must be uniform and continuous, and the loading speed must be coordinated with the drum speed and temperature to ensure consistent drying results.
Drying: After the wet fertilizer enters the dryer, hot air enters through a duct and begins drying the fertilizer. The lift plates inside the dryer ensure a continuous flow of hot air, achieving uniform drying without any angles.
Discharge: Dried fertilizer is automatically discharged and moves to the next processing step, while the dust collector continuously operates to remove waste dust and moisture.
Our drum is designed with an inclination of approximately 3-5°. The drying process is continuous, from the feed stage of the dryer to the discharge.

Features of the Fertilizer Dryer
- The fertilizer dryer can dry a wide range of materials, including livestock and poultry manure (chicken, cow, and pig manure), sludge, food waste, straw compost, humic acid, nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium (NPK) compound fertilizers, mixed fertilizers of various proportions, and pre-processed fertilizers made from distiller’s grains, medicinal residues, and agricultural waste. Both powdered and granular fertilizers can be dried.
- The fertilizer dryer is highly automated. The fertilizer dryer utilizes an automated design that monitors drying parameters throughout the drying process, such as changes in fertilizer moisture and drying temperature.
- Environmentally Compliant: The fertilizer dryer is equipped with efficient dust and odor removal systems (such as cyclones and water curtains) to effectively control dust and odor emissions.
- The dryer features a lifting plate design that repeatedly spreads and disperses the material, ensuring full contact with the hot air and uniform heating. This eliminates dead zones and ensures consistent strength and quality of the finished pellets.

How should customers choose a fertilizer dryer?
- Determine the type of fertilizer to be dried, its initial and final moisture content, and the expected output per hour.
- Heat source selection: Choose natural gas, biomass pellets, coal, or any other heat source.
- Consider site size and site area and height restrictions to ensure the equipment and its supporting systems (loaders, coolers, etc.) are optimally arranged.
- Automation: You can choose the level of automation based on your budget. We offer both semi-automated and fully-automated fertilizer dryers.
