Working Principle of the Desulfurized Gypsum Dryer
The desulfurized gypsum dryer mainly consists of a hot air furnace, feeding system, rotary drum, discharge system, and dust collector. It can be divided into three sections: feeding, drying, and discharging. The hot air furnace and rotary drum are the key components, with the furnace providing thermal energy by burning fuel to heat the dryer, which in turn evaporates the moisture from the desulfurized gypsum.
Feeding Section: Moist desulfurized gypsum is fed into the dryer through a conveyor system.
Drying Section: Once inside the dryer, the gypsum is broken up by internal mechanisms, which increases the surface area exposed to heat. The drying temperature typically ranges from 500°C to 700°C.
Discharging Section: After drying, the product is discharged from the outlet, where it can be packaged using a packing machine. The waste air containing water vapor and a small amount of dust is directed to the dust collection system (such as a bag filter), where it is purified and safely discharged.
