Waste Dryer
A waste dryer is a specialized drying machine for waste processing. It can dry highly viscous waste, waste residue, sludge, and other materials. It quickly removes moisture, significantly reducing the material’s volume and weight, making it easier to store, transport, and recycle.
Our waste dryer utilizes a rotating drum design, using hot air from a combustion furnace to dry the wet material.
The heat source system uses a combustion furnace to supply hot air to the dryer (heat sources include electricity, natural gas, coal, biomass pellets, and biogas).
Wet waste is automatically fed into the dryer via a loader. The dryer also rotates, exposing the waste to the hot air. The dryer drum is oriented high on one side and low on the other (wet waste enters at the high end and exits at the low end). The drying process is sealed to prevent heat leakage.
During the drying process, a dust collector continuously collects moisture and smoke, ensuring a completely smoke-free drying process.

What is the degree of automation in a waste dryer?
We can design fully automated waste dryers for our customers.
A Siemens control system can be used to monitor the drying material throughout the entire process, including initial and final moisture levels, dryer energy efficiency, drum speed, and smoke detection. Only one person is required for the entire process.
- Forklift loading is supported. The automated design and integration with the forklift hopper allow for rapid loading.
- Special components are made of special materials, such as wear-resistant carbon steel for the lift plate, which automatically monitors wear.

What materials can be dried in a waste dryer?
Waste dryers can dry a wide variety of wet waste materials and are widely used in many waste drying industries.
- Industrial Waste:
Municipal Sludge: Sludge generated by sewage treatment plants can be dried and used in brick making, cement admixture, or incinerated for power generation.
Chemical Waste Residue: Medicinal residue and waste salt from the pharmaceutical, pesticide, and dye industries. Food industry waste: Wine lees, vinegar lees, fruit residue, potato residue, bean dregs, etc., can be dried to produce high-value feed or organic fertilizer.
Livestock and poultry manure: Chicken manure, pig manure, etc., can be dried to produce organic fertilizer, completing the crop-livestock cycle.
Agricultural waste:
Crop straw: Corn stalks, rice husks, etc., can be dried to produce fuel pellets, feed, or base materials.
Slaughterhouse waste: Feathers, offal residues, etc., can be dried to produce feather meal or high-protein feed.
Other waste:
Metal smelting waste: Such as steel slag and slag, can be dried to recover valuable metals or be used as building materials.
Biomass waste: Sawdust, wood chips, bark, etc., can be dried to produce high-quality biomass fuel.

Waste drying in a waste dryer allows for the recycling of waste resources. We can customize waste dryers based on your specific needs. Customers can send us their materials, and we’ll design a detailed drying plan based on their initial moisture content, viscosity, particle size, pH, and other factors, along with production volume and final moisture content. We can manufacture and integrate equipment from a single unit to a complete production line (loading, drying, dust removal, discharging, and intelligent control). Our environmentally friendly, highly efficient exhaust purification system ensures that dust and odor emissions fully comply with international environmental standards. We can also conduct tests on your materials and design a detailed waste drying plan based on the results.
